Resources
The published record and the data library. SGL technical papers document two decades of method and instrument development; the available data library holds existing survey coverage that can be licensed instead of flown new.
Surveys flown for governments and geological surveys are commonly released as public data. Recent examples from SGL flying include the high resolution magnetic and radiometric data over the western Spirit Lake tectonic zone (Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota and Minnesota), released by USGS in March 2026; the national airborne dataset for Ireland, completed in June 2026; and regional AIRGrav gravity data in Western Australia.
On sgl.com, the available data library is browsed on a map and by type. In the live rebuild, each dataset resolves to its coverage, parameters and licensing route.
